Anahit Nersisyan’s video collection provides several ways into her repertoire. Some visitors arrive looking for a particular composer; others want to discover a voice through a few contrasting selections. Both approaches work well with a collection of individual performances.
Begin with a composer
The official channel’s current collection includes videos labeled with Verdi’s Ernani, Bizet’s Carmen, and Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice. Armenian selections include a performance labeled Anoush by Armen Tigranyan and “Blbul em” by Karo Zakaryan. These are the publisher’s video titles, not a claim that each upload presents a complete opera.
Try a contrasting selection
The website’s selected performances also include “Oror,” “Lauretta’s Aria,” “Du Bist,” and “Vocalize.” Choose one unfamiliar title alongside something you already know. Listen first without comparing, then return to the opening and notice the relationship between the vocal line, the accompaniment, and the text where words are present.
This is a listening suggestion rather than a review of any individual recording. The most useful guide is often your own response: which phrase stays with you, and which piece makes you want to hear more?
Watch without leaving the website
Select a video thumbnail on the Videos page to open its player in a popup. Closing the player returns you to the collection. The latest-upload section checks the official channel daily; upload dates describe publication on YouTube and should not be assumed to be concert dates.
For a complete album experience after exploring the videos, continue to Komitas on the Music page.
